Parents can provide three main types of involvement for their child:
- The first is for the parent to support the care arrangement at home.
Your child can sense whether or not you are comfortable with the
care arrangement and may react accordingly.
- The next type of involvement is for parents to volunteer their services
in
some capacity, whether it be by donating supplies or equipment,
or
accompanying your child on field trips or demonstrating a special
skill
or hobby.
- The third level of involvement is for parents to volunteer and take part in
decision making and advisory roles. This involvement usually takes the
form of being on the Board of Directors.
